what is graphic design…? a food..? an animal or crap thing…? I know most off you maybe interested about graphic design rite..? but do you know what the meaning of graphic design…? some off you must think graphic design is a art, creative, person who always with computer, information technology (IT), skills, and anymore. If that your answer then you are suck. why i say u are suck with that answer…? that because you not know the true meaning of graphic design. let me story first about graphic design to let you all know what the true meaning of graphic design. First, graphic design is totally different from information technology or IT and some off people think it same. but you know, graphic design and IT is very different and please don’t compare with this two career. It is base for technology and programming but graphic design is base for design and graphic. so the main point here is IT most powerfull with programming and graphic design is most powerfull with graphic and design. then you clear it now it very different rite…? Second, graphic design not art only. its compare to color, skills, technic, creativity, hardworking and talent. how can i say that..? the answer is anything you see about design u will see their play with color and creativity. that two thing is base from skills, technic, creativity, hardworking and talent. without that u cant create a great design and artwork. why i say talent and hardworking is very important..? without talent u cant make a good idea and good artwork because maybe some off people not interest about design and just learn it for fun. here i want tell u all talent is very important and almost hardworking is very important to. if you not work hard to learn and work you cant get a good design because a good artwork need a lot of hour to create.

Meaning Of Graphic Design

Here is the true meaning of graphic design. I hope u clear what is graphic design call. Graphic design is the process of communicating visually using typography and images to present information. Graphic design practice embraces a range of cognitive skills, aesthetics and crafts, including typography, visual arts and page layout. Like other forms of design, graphic design often refers to both the process (designing) by which the communication is created and the products (designs) which are generated.

maybe some off you don’t know what is typography rite..? Typography is the art and techniques of type design, modifying type glyphs, and arranging type. Type glyphs (characters) are created and modified using a variety of illustration techniques. The arrangement of type is the selection of typefaces, point size, line length, leading (line spacing) and letter spacing.Typography is performed by typesetters, compositors, typographers, graphic artists, art directors, and clerical workers. Until the Digital Age, typography was a specialized occupation. Digitization opened up typography to new generations of visual designers and lay users. so the simple word can be use is typography is similar with type or typeface and font. so if you using any font its call typography like arial font, comic sans font, tahoma font and anything else. but all of that font are totally different and have their own name like Serif, Sans Serif, and decoration. if you want to know about typography you can ask me and i surely help to you know it.

basically, typography is using in design and most of design need typeface rite…? so what can typography do…? typography can do to decorate your design to be more better. you can use typography for title, logo, type and many more. here some example about the uses of typography.

I surely most off you know what is multimedia rite…? but let me make you all clear about multimedia design. multimedia includes a combination of text, audio, still images, animation, video, and interactivity content forms. “Multimedia (Lat. Multum + Medium) is media that utilizes a combination of different content forms. The term can be used as a noun (a medium with multiple content forms) or as an adjective describing a medium as having multiple content forms. The term is used in contrast to media which only utilize traditional forms of printed or hand-produced text and still graphics. Multimedia is usually recorded and played, displayed or accessed by information content processing devices, such as computerized and electronic devices, but can also be part of a live performance. Multimedia (as an adjective) also describes electronic media devices used to store and experience multimedia content. Multimedia is similar to traditional mixed media in fine art, but with a broader scope. The term “rich media” is synonymous for interactive multimedia. Hypermedia can be considered one particular multimedia application.” Maybe you got a bit confuse here.let make it a simple word. Multimedia is combination of text, audio, images, animation, video and interactivity content forms. Multimedia is usually recorded and played, displayed or accessed by information content processing devices, such as computerized and electronic devices like computer and projector. you all can compare multimedia with animation, games, audio, video and many more.

Advertising Design

Advertising is a one-way communication whose purpose is to inform potential customers about products and services and how to obtain them. Every major medium is used to deliver these messages, including: television, radio, movies, magazines, newspapers, video games, the Internet (see Internet advertising), and billboards. Advertising is often placed by an advertising agency on behalf of a company. Advertisements can also be seen on the seats of grocery carts, on the walls of an airport walkway, on the sides of buses, heard in telephone hold messages and in-store public address systems. Advertisements are usually placed anywhere an audience can easily and/or frequently access visuals and/or audio.

If you choose advertising you need a very creative idea and hardworking to make a good design and artwork. beside that, advertising is a very fun courses and it same with multimedia. its a my favorite course to but in my current condition i choose multimedia.

Advertising usually is using for advertise a company, organization, club, and any else for commercial or to promote our their product to people. In this world or i can make the really easy imagination for you to understand what meaning of advertising is at your current life. if you have an eyes you can see a lot of advertising around of you. what kind advertising is that…? lol… thats is a simple. the type of advertising is billboard, banner, bunting, flyers, web banner, wall painting, poster, TV commercial, painting, and many more. there a lot of advertising you can see.

Illustration Design

who like to drawing and sketch…? or like manga and anime…? if u like both of them here the course you must choose. but…? its still have but you know… if u choose this part you need a skill in drawing and if you not have you will get hard to mastered it. why i say hard…? that because you need to draw and color your sketch everytime and need to spend a lot of hour to create artwork. but if you have talent and skills of drawing it will be piece of cake.

now let take a note what the meaning of Illustration. An Illustration is a visualisation such as a drawing, painting, photograph or other work of art that stresses subject more than form. The aim of an illustration is to elucidate or decorate a story, poem or piece of textual information (such as a newspaper article), traditionally by providing a visual representation of something described in the text. impressive rite…? but it very difficult to learn unless you really a hardworking person.

Packaging Design

most of you maybe know what the meaning of packaging rite…? in packaging design you can design for promote product, product packaging and product shape like milo tin, cd cover and manymore. i don’t know how to describe about packaging because i very master at packaging. otherwise this part very hard and very boring to learn unless you very interested about packaging. same people have their own interest rite… so let see what meaning of packaging. this one i copy from wikipidea.

Packaging also refers to the process of design, evaluation, and production of packages. Package labelling (BrE) or labeling (AmE) is any written, electronic, or graphic communications on the packaging or on a separate but associated label.

Packaging is heavily integrated into our daily lives, we see it all around us, on everyday items such as chocolate bars and potato chip (crisp) packets- As explained below, the main use for packaging is protection of the goods inside, but packaging also provides us with a recognisable logo, or packaging, we instantly know what the goods are inside”

so the simple word i can say about packaging design is you will design the package labellings like, illustration, bar code, information of product and manymore. let see the example so you can understand what is packaging.
